Ovise has partnered with an established Hedge Fund, which is building out a greenfield trading application and is seeking an expert React Developer to join their team in NYC!
Key Responsibilities:
- Be pivotal in developing the front-end UI components for a greenfield trading application
- Optimize performance and scalability while ensuring high-quality code
- Integrate data across multiple systems seamlessly
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and prototyping
- Assist with product documentation, unit testing, and overall quality assurance
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of React development experience
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and functional programming
- Experience with multi-threaded browsers, debugging, and performance optimization
- Knowledge of front-end (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and back-end (Node.js, Python) technologies
- Experience with large-scale systems and agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Bonus: Experience with AWS, Python, or financial trading systems
