Senior Machine Learning Engineer

As part of their transformation, they are rapidly expanding their Generative AI Centre of Excellence and are seeking Machine Learning Engineers to help drive this change.

The Opportunity:

You’ll join a highly visible, cross-functional team working on cutting-edge Generative AI solutions that directly impact underwriting, claims processing, customer engagement, and risk modeling. This is a unique chance to work in a start-up-style environment within the stability and scale of an industry leader.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy full-stack applications with AI/ML capabilities.
• Build and maintain AWS-based infrastructure, ensuring security, scalability, and cost optimization
• Develop and integrate backend services using Python (Flask, FastAPI) and frontend applications with React and TypeScript
• Ensure seamless interaction between modern applications, legacy systems, and external APIs
• Lead iterative development cycles using Agile methodologies

Qualifications:

• Strong experience developing full-stack applications within enterprise/regulated environments (React, Typescript, Python)
• Experience working with AWS services (Lambda, S3, SageMaker, Bedrock, IaC)
• Data Science mindset, MLOps and model deployment techniques
• Current GenAI experience / passion for GenAI with willingness to learn
