Founding Full Stack Engineer (backend-focused) – AI Search Startup
Ovise is exclusively partnered with a well-funded AI search startup in the commodity and market intelligence space. Founded by former engineers from Palantir, Goldman Sachs, and Amazon, the company has raised pre-seed and is raising again in February. Now hiring a Founding Full Stack Engineer as an early employee (~employee #5).
This is a true zero-to-one role. High ownership, real equity, fast pace. Not a 9-5. Fully onsite in NYC.
The Role
You’ll join as a backend-focused full stack engineer, helping build the core systems that power AI-driven search and data products. You’ll work closely with the founders and own production code from day one.
Requirements
- 1–5 years of software engineering experience (strong grads welcome)
- Strong experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and React
- Backend-leaning full stack profile with solid system design fundamentals
- Comfortable working in ambiguous, early-stage environments
- Experience with modern cloud infrastructure and deployment
LLM / AI experience is a plus, not required
Compensation
- Base salary up to $160K
- Meaningful equity (up to 1%)
