As the Data Engineering Lead, you’ll spearhead the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines, integrations, and data architecture supporting their Guest Data Platform. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide technical leadership and ensure alignment with the enterprise data strategy and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Ownership: Lead the entire lifecycle of data pipelines and integrations, ensuring seamless data flow into our Guest Data Platform.
- Technical Leadership: Provide mentorship and guidance to development teams working on data engineering projects.
- Proactive Problem-Solving: Identify and address project risks early, collaborating with cross-functional teams to course-correct as needed.
- Collaboration: Partner with enterprise architecture and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver robust technical solutions.
- Stay Ahead: Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in data engineering, proposing innovative solutions to meet evolving business needs.
- Strategic Partnership: Work closely with the Adobe Product team on personalization and guest targeting initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years in data engineering, data architecture, or data management roles, with at least 5 years leading projects.
- Proficiency in designing and developing data pipelines using tools like Matillion, Apache Spark, etc.
- Strong expertise in data architecture and management using AWS Redshift, DynamoDB, etc.
- Experience with customer data platforms such as Adobe Experience Platform.
- Familiarity with data quality, governance, security, and privacy standards.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, both independently and as part of a team.
