Ovise has partnered on this search with an industry-leading cybersecurity organization! As a NASL Developer, you will leverage your expertise in Nessus Attack Script Language (NASL) to enhance and extend the capabilities of our security solutions, including GreenBone OpenVAS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, modify, and optimize Nessus scripts for vulnerability detection and network scanning using GreenBone OpenVAS and Nessus.
- Collaborate with security analysts to identify and define scripting requirements tailored to specific security objectives.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of Nessus scripts to ensure accuracy and reliability in detecting vulnerabilities.
- Provide technical documentation and support for the implementation and integration of Nessus scripts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with NASL development and GreenBone OpenVAS.
- Proficient in Network Attack Script Language (NASL).
- Strong understanding of network security, vulnerability management, and penetration testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Docker, AWS, or similar is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues.
