Ovise has partnered with a leading US Media company that is committed to delivering innovative content across various platforms. As part of their mission to stay at the forefront of technology, they are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS to drive efficiency, scalability, and reliability across their digital infrastructure.
As a DevOps Engineer you will play a pivotal role in optimizing cloud-based systems and processes, enabling seamless deployment and management of media applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline development pipelines, enhance automation, and ensure high availability and performance of digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions on AWS to support media applications and services.
- Develop and automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Configure and manage containerized environments using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Monitor system health and performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
- Collaborate with software development teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to enable repeatable and automated provisioning of resources.
- Ensure security and compliance standards are met by implementing robust access controls, encryption, and auditing mechanisms.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, preferably in a media or entertainment industry.
- Strong proficiency in cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and ECS.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and infrastructure management.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
