Partnering on this search with a Financial Services orginzation who is looking to hire a Systems Engineer.
Ovise has partnered with a Financial Services orginzation that is looking to hire an experienced Systems Engineer to support and manage server infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage 400+ Microsoft Windows servers.
- Troubleshoot server performance, security, and hardware issues.
- Build and manage virtual and physical servers.
- Perform system updates, patches, and security configurations.
- Assist with Linux server support.
- Support disaster recovery planning.
- Provide technical support for escalated issues.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related field.
- 7+ years managing Windows Servers.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, server hardware (HP/Dell/Cisco), Active Directory, Exchange, DNS, and GPO.
- 4+ years of PowerShell/scripting and VMware vSphere (VCP preferred).
- 2+ years of AWS/Azure experience.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Financial services experience and Linux knowledge (Red Hat preferred) are a plus.
